WELCOME TO SEANCHAI LIBRARIES: 2015 DICKENS PROJECT

WELCOME TO SEANCHAI LIBRARIES: 2015 DICKENS PROJECT

The Dickens Project, first presented in 2012 to celebrate the 200thanniversary of  author Charles Dickens’ birth, returns to Second Life celebrating the words of Dickens - specially featuring "A Christmas Carol."

All events free to all Second Life Residents, with donations accepted for the Community Virtual Library: a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, connecting residents with information resources, reference services, and serving as a networking tool for information resource professionals.

A Christmas Carol will be presented in a variety of adaptations, in sections and in its entirety, at different times to make the live readings accessible to residents from different parts of the globe. Other works from within the author’s vast canon will be featured along with other events including Dickens Trivia, carols by the Raglan Shire Tinie Carolers, Fezziwig's Ball, and more.

The 2015 edition of The Dickens Project will take place in the Community Virtual Library’s exhibit space in it s home on the Bradley University Sim.
