Applications are now open for Flat Classroom Project, Digiteen Project, A Week in the Life and NetGenEd. See http://flatclassroomproject.net and access updated subscription forms and timelines and link to updated New Teacher Guides.

The K-2 and Eracism project updated application material will be available by July 15.

Flat Classroom has been very well received at the ISTE 2012 conference in San Diego (Julie and Vicki presenting) as well as the Asia Society: Partnership for Global Learning event (Julie presenting) in New York City. There is much excitement about the projects`, the book, Flattening Classrooms, Engaging Minds: Move to Global Collaboration One Step at a Time, and the Flat Classroom Certified Teacher course (next cohort starting August 2012!!!).

A SPECIAL thank you to the teachers who joined us at ISTE and helped run an additional Poster session. I know there are pictures out there, and encourage those who have them to upload to this Ning. Thanks to Kathleen Scarpato, Sandy Wisneski, Anne Mirtschin, Cindy Schultz, MaryFran Lynch, Patty Hoyt, Lisette Casey. Also to Suzie Nestico and Leigh Zeitz for help with other presentations and for joining us at the Flat Classroom dinner. Shout out to Steve Madsen as well, great to see you at ISTE this year!

Don't forget our Flat Classroom Conferences this coming year!!
