Am I indispensable?

Dr. Victor Edmonds at Berkeley raised an interesting question in education recently in his presentation in Hawaii. He said students are making a wise economic choice if they can skip my class, sleep in, and get the same information online later. Am I meeting this challenge? He is of course referring to college students, but this concept applies in K-12.
Why, indeed? Will Future Schools be all virtual? How close are we to that concept? Maybe we will morph into virtual facilitators instead of classroom teachers. Sounds like fun, let's go!
